If
we choose to wallow in self-pity, our lives will remain stationary. One
thing about us as humans is that we are made with emotions. Some get
confused about what emotions are really for, and think that they should
let their emotional feelings determine what type of life that they will
have. Instead of letting your emotions rule you, you have to be willing
to let your emotions show you what they need to show you in order to
make changes, instead of making you change.
Sometimes we may get up in the morning feeling a bit depressed or feeling a bit lonely, but these feelings are only there to indicate that we need to make some kind of change in our lives. These types of feelings arent there for us to sit and wallow in; doing so would not be productive or healthy for us in any manner.
Take time to know yourself by learning how to not be controlled by emotion, but instead by being in control of your emotions.
