One
big tool that many people use in business is the act of under-promising
and over-delivering. This act encourages an entity that is providing a
service or product to a customer to knowingly promise a customer that
they can only provide them with about half of what they know they are
truly able to provide them with, and then over-delivering with a bigger
or better product or service to please the customer more effectively.
Sometimes we have to be willing to under-promise and over-deliver in our own lives as well to help build our confidence. One way to try this in your own life may be by setting goals on a regular basis. Set realistic goals, goals that arent too easy but goals that you may be able to surpass if you put a great amount of effort into accomplishing them. Overall just make sure you dream big, expect less, and work hard for the most.
